Located in the heart of the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore, Dunes Learning Center provides exceptional, hands-on learning experiences that inspire community, environmental stewardship, and a lifetime of memories. Their innovative educational programs are for everyone- children, teachers, families, community groups, college students, and adults.
Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore
The National Lakeshore runs along southern Lake Michigan. The park contains approximately 15,000 acres including miles of beaches, sand dunes, bog, wetlands, woodland forests, an 1830's French Canadian homestead, and a working 1900 era farm.
